I absolutely love massage therapy! It is a blessing in my life to be a part of this profession. Before going to massage school I was attempting to work as a wilderness field therapist for troubled teenagers in Utah. I always wanted to do work in a profession that involves helping people. While in Utah I realized that, although I love the outdoors, I also love indoor plumbing! When I traveled back home I had no idea what I was going to do with my life. By the True Grace of God and Jesus Christ, I was given a full scholarship to study massage in Columbia, SC. I then became licensed in North CaroIina and I have been working as a massage therapist ever since I graduated. I have my classmates and my wonderful teacher to thank for everything that I learned. I use a wide variety of techniques in my practice from Reflexology, myofascial, tui na, hot stone, bamboo massage, and Swedish relaxation. I am always learning and the profession of massage stays vibrant and fascinating to me. My goal with every client is to serve to the highest of my ability. If I think another therapist has more skills in a certain condition I will not hesitate to refer a client out to an amazing highly skilled network of colleagues that I have come to know and trust.
